of Kalamazoo Passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010. Richard was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on November 5, 1911, the son of Reiniard and Helen Zantjer Vandenberg. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his one brother Garrett. He is survived by a number of cousins. He served in the European theater during World War II with the Aviation Engineers. He worked for and retired from Consumers Energy. No service or viewing will be held. Burial will be at Mount Everest Memorial Park.
