Kalamazoo, MI Richard Wayne Powell passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 at his home in Kalamazoo, MI. Richard was born November 30, 1926 to the late George and Frances Powell. He served his country in the U.S. Army and made a career as a plumber, working for the Kalamazoo Public Schools and in his community. A talented tradesman, a loving father and a good friend -- we will miss him dearly. A private interment will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St.
