KIMBLE, Mr. Richard F.
Kalamazoo, MI Died Monday afternoon July 30, 2007 at his residence. Richard was born April 16, 1929 in South Bend, Indiana a son of Fred and Evelyn Wojciehowski Kimble. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed with Conrail Railroad for 44 years, retiring in 1994. He also enjoyed collecting model cars and trucks. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Lois Kimble; and a brother, Donald Kimble. On January 17, 1987, he was united in marriage to Kristine L. Krause Kimble who survives. Also surviving, 14 children, Linda Kimble of Plainwell Fred Joanne Clark of Otsego, Donald Kimble and Richard Kimble both of Portage, Ellen Gayle Curt Mack of Portage, Kathryn James Hatridge of Mendon, Benjamin Kimble of Vicksburg, Linda Gary Ahrens of Lyons, IL, Laura Jim Swiatnicki Of Downers Grove, IL, Judy Nowak of Chicago, IL, Louise Whalen of Darien, IL, Michael Morgan of Chicago, IL, Dale Kate Johnson of Vicksburg, and Kendra Eric Bray of Kalamazoo; 28 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Phillip Bowe of Otsego; and several niece and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock Thursday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. There will be no visitation. Private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the West Michigan Cancer Center.
