Died Saturday evening July 1, 2017 in Sebring, Florida. Richard was born June 12, 1936 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of John and Doris (Peters) Kelley. Years ago, he served honorably with the U.S. Army. He had been a Sebring, Florida resident since 2011. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Vivian Marie. He is survived by a daughter, Dawn Roebuck of Plainwell; 2 grandchildren, Jason Thomas of Detroit, Morgan Thomas of Kalamazoo; twin sisters, Joan Mallory of Kalamazoo and Jean (Eugene) Riggs of Battle Creek; and several nieces and nephews. Private visitation and graveside services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Benton Harbor Lions Club.
