Rheta M. Cannom

CANNOM, Mrs. Rheta M. Kalamazoo, MI Died Tuesday afternoon February 6, 2007. Rheta was born August 18, 1912 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Claude and Martha Thomas. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Avco Financial Company for 15 years before retiring. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond M. Cannom in 1970; and her daughter, Marilyn Martin in 2004. She is survived by a granddaughter, Nancy Martin of Portage; a grandson, Mark Katie Martin of Peoria, IL; 4 great-grandchildren, Kristen and her husband, Joshua, Tim, Becky, and Kevin; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11 o?clock Saturday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Diabetes Association.
