Rena "Babe" Ouding, age 93, went home to be with her Lord on February 3, 2017. Rena was born July 31, 1923 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Kloosterman) Ouding. She was a graduate of the Reformed Bible Institute. For over 45 years she served as a missionary with Village Missions and had personally helped start churches all over the United States. Rena was preceded in death by her parents and by five brothers and four sisters. Surviving are a sister-in-law Clara Ouding and by many special nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00AM on Friday, February 10th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway, where her funeral service will begin at 11:00AM Friday. A private interment will be in Comstock Cemetery. Memorials in Rena's memory may be directed to Village Missions.
