PITZER, Phyllis G.
of Kalamazoo Died August 18, 2010 at Bronson Hospital. Born September 6, 1936 in Connorsville, IN to Charles and Dorothy Ward. Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by a daughter Janice Byers. On March 29, 1968, she was married to John Pitzer, who survives. Also surviving are children, Mary Hurd, Troy Hogg, Gary England, Jim Pitzer, John Pitzer, Sandra Pitzer, Doris Tipken and Elizabeth Bolen; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother Ervin Ward and a sister Mary Fields; nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday, August 23rd at Ft. Custer National Cemetery with Pastor Jeff McNally officiating. Please assemble in the funeral cortege assembly area by 1:15 pm.
