Kalamazoo, Michigan Phyllis passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2008 with her family by her side. She was born July 24, 1953 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Vincent and Anna Marie Lonardo. She was employed by Mueller Plastics for the last 15 years, where she made many long lasting friendships. Surviving are her 3 daughters, Roseann Occhipinti of Taylors, SC, Anna Muraoka of Paw Paw, and Michele fiancé Emerson Favreau Muraoka of Paw Paw; 2 grandchildren, Dakota Guild and Madison Double and their fathers, Adam and Duane; close friend and former husband, Michael Muraoka of Paw Paw; and his children, Sean and Takeo Muraoka; 1 sister and brother-in-law, Roseann and Anthony Aresta of CA; and 2 nieces, Dina McIntosh and Tonilynne Hernandez and their families. Prayer services for Phyllis will be at 7:00 PM Saturday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street. Friends may visit with the family from 1-3 & 4-7 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Machpelah Cemetery, North Bergen, New Jersey. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to West Michigan Cancer Center. www.langelands.com
