BEACH, Phyllis J. Huss
of Portage Phyllis passed away on Wednesday afternoon, June 26, 2013. She was born July 16, 1929 in Sturgis, MI, the daughter of the late Warren and Faye Sunday Huss. On November 2, 1946, Phyllis was united in marriage to Loren L. Beach Jr. in White Pigeon, MI. She was employed by WL Molding for over 30 years until her retirement. She was active with the VFW Post #5855; enjoyed embroidery and traveling in her retirement years. Surviving are her children, Nancy Paul Sadler of Hartford, Loren III Lisa Beach of Sarasota, Florida, Barbara Karn of Portage, Charles Robin Beach of Gatesville, Texas and Phyllis Price of Portage; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband of 59 years, Loren Beach Jr.; two sons-in-law, Rick Karn and Don Price; two brothers and one sister. Private family services have been held and there will be no visitation. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association or SPCA of Southwest Michigan.
