of Mendon Left us on December 3, 2010, he was 54. Phil has joined his dad to be with our heavenly Father. He was the kindest man you could ever have known. He loved to fish and go canoeing and all things outdoors. He is survived by his daughters Samantha and Heidi; his mother Carol Smith of Kalamazoo; siblings Wendy Smith of West Jordan, Utah, Robert Linda Smith of Ypsilanti, MI, Christopher Smith of Belgrad, ME, and Timothy Diane Smith of Olivet, MI. Uncle Phil will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews and many of his cousins. There will be a Memorial gathering at the home of Timothy Smith in Olivet, on December 11, 2010 from 3-5:00 o'clock. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
