MOORIAN, Peter S.
Of Mendon Peter passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at his home. He was born May 15, 1946 in Grand Rapids, the son of the late Peter G. and Betty Mullens Moorian. Peter was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam Conflict. For the next 33 years he worked in aviation. He was director of flight operations and chief pilot and flight instructor for Bartelt Aviation in Sturgis. Surviving are his wife, Suzanne Moorian; their 2 sons, Michael Angel Moorian of Battle Creek and William Jolee Moorian of Mattawan; 2 grandsons, Benjamin and Zach; and brother, David Alice Moorian of Gobles. Funeral services for Peter will be at 11:30 AM on Monday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, where friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Interment with military honors will follow in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Disabled American Veterans.
