of Mattawan Went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, March 20, 2012. Paywala was born November 10, 1931 in Vezala, West Africa, Liberia, the daughter of Mulbah and Saybah Korowr. She enjoyed gardening and selling her vegetables from her own stand. Her true passion in life was spending time with family and friends; and especially her grandchildren. Paywala was preceded in death by 4 sons, Andrew Sorsor, Francis, Augustine, and Edward Jorgboyan; sisters, Weedor Sao, Weedor Sabah, Sonnie Diggen; and her brother, Francis Sumo. Surviving are her children, Sonnie Supo, Isaac Felicia Jorgboyan, Vincent Jagbay, Erickson Jorgboyan; 15 grandchildren, Sao, Sabah, Paywala, Andrew, Dawosu, Baysah, T-Boy, Jangar, Kollie, Kpalazu, Saygbah, Guworgo, Lombah, Satta, and Torlo; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Youngor Washington; brother, Korvah Korti; special niece, Mary Korp Hiama; several other loved nieces and nephews; and Rick Johnson, a family friend for many years. Services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, March 30, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th Street. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery. Friends may meet the family on Friday from 12:00 pm until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to the family.
