Pauline A. Tupper

TUPPER, Pauline A. Galesburg Passed away, March 23, 2007 at Borgess Hospital. Pauline was born March 27, 1931 in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of Paul and Myrtle Stewart Meade and lived most of her life in Galesburg. Prior to her retirement in 1988, she was employed for 32 years at Hydreco. Pauline attended the Galesburg Congregational Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and crafts. For several years, she was the playground supervisor at the Galesburg Elementary School. Pauline was preceded in death by her father Paul in 1937 and her mother Myrtle in 1978. Surviving are a son Richard Tupper of Galesburg and a daughter Janet Simmons of Gobles; a granddaughter Renee K. Tupper of Decatur and twin great-grandsons, James and Kevin Buchanan; a sister Doris Born of Augusta; aunt Joyce Ellwood of Galesburg; special cousin Bobbie Roberts of Ft. Myers, FL; several nieces, nephews , great and great-great nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 o?clock Tuesday at the Galesburg Congregational United Church of Christ, 142 W. Battle Creek St. with the Rev. Whitney Brown officiating. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pauline?s memory be made to the charity of your choice.
