SIMONDS, Ms. Paulette A.
of Galesburg, Michigan Died Friday morning May 24, 2013 at her residence. Paulette was born June 28, 1946 in South Bend, Indiana a daughter of Paul and Margaret Slater Mulder. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed with the Eaton Corporation for many years, retiring in 2004. Paulette was preceded in death by her father; and a son, Jeffrey Simonds in 2003. She is survived by 7 children, Brian Wendy Simonds of Galesburg, Michael Mary Simonds of Portage, Jennifer Simonds of Galesburg, James Simonds of Kalamazoo, Thomas Simonds of Grand Rapids, Kenneth Vanessa Simonds of Galesburg, and Steve Simonds of Kalamazoo; daughter-in-law, Gina Simonds, New Haven, CT; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Margaret John Gross and Kathy Tim Barnett all of Galesburg; a brother, Paul "Sonny" Tina Mulder of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Friday, May 31st from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 West Battle Creek St. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Private interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the family payable to Michael Simonds.
