WRIGHT, Paul L., 91, of Battle Creek, passed away on Monday morning, March 27, 2017 at his home. He was born on June 8, 1925 on his family's farm in Lawrence, MI to the late Lloyd E. and Lyda B. (Shepard) Wright. Paul was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. He worked in accounting at General Foods for over 30 years until his retirement in 1988. Paul was a member of Grace Harbor Church (formerly Westwood Church of God) in Kalamazoo. Surviving are his wife, Bonita M. Wright, their two sons: Steven (Patty) Wright of Valparaiso, IN and Scott (Dolly) Wright of Coldwater; two grandchildren: Amber and Courtney Wright; brother: Earl Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; siblings: Myrtle, Velma, Marjorie, Lloyd Jr and Darwin. A funeral service to celebrate Paul's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Grace Harbor Church, 811 Gorham Lane, Kalamazoo, where friends may visit with the family from 10-11 AM. Pastor Bill Ferguson will officiate. Interment and military honors will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Kalamazoo. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Heartland Hospice. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Kalamazoo.
