Of Kalamazoo Passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008. Paul was born August 16, 1921, in Kalamazoo, the son of Dee and Gertrude Nash Williams and has been a lifelong resident. During WW II he served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. For many years he worked as a salesman, retiring from the Stryker Corporation. Paul loved music, golfing, gardening, but most of all loved spending time with his family. On June 19, 1944, he was united in marriage to the former Jean Bachelder who preceded him in death on April 18, 1995. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roy A. Williams. Surviving are his children, Tim Sally Williams of Clermont, FL, Terry Marsha Williams of Kalamazoo and Penny Jerry Norton of Clare, MI; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Pierre Brown, Megan Williams, Aaron JoLinda Williams and Eric Williams; 4 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joyce Williams of Kalamazoo. In accordance with Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. A private interment will be held in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial in Paul's memory to Hospice Care of SW Michigan.
