KNAUSS, Mr. Paul J.
Portage, MI Died Friday evening May 18, 2007 at his residence. Paul was born December 13, 1918 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a son of Miles and Lilly Fisher Knauss. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and owned Knauss Builders for many years, retiring in 1997. He was preceded by his parents; a brother, Carrol Knauss; 3 grandchildren, Michelle, Travis, and Sandra Owen; and a great-grandson, Shawn Owen. He is survived by a son, Edward Sharon Knauss of Portage; 3 grandchildren, Adam Leslie Gunderson, Troy Brown, and Amy Russ Guajardo; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Durwood Donna Knauss of Portage; a sister, Jeanette Wickey of Schoolcraft; special friend, Diane Daniel Kirkconnell of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 10 o?clock Tuesday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be 6-8pm Monday. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Program or the Cheff Center.
