Paul Joseph Johnson went home to God on February 8, 2023 at the age of 77. He was in Galesburg, MI with his family during his last battle with Dementia. He was a beloved father and grandfather, former member of the United States Army Reserves and respected retired business man.
Paul was dedicated to the boiler industry for over 50 years. His career spanned Clever-Brooks, Johnston Boiler, Fluid Handling & Combustion Systems, and Proven Power. He enjoyed solving problems and creating solutions.
He was passionate about providing for his family; always supporting their hopes and dreams. Paul was a master carpenter. He loved cars, most notably Volkswagen and Ford, with a special place in his heart for the Mustang.
Paul was a deep thinker and an innovator, having secured several US patents in his life. A testament for his thirst for knowledge and solving problems.
He enjoyed watching National Lampoon’s Vacation movies and MeTV with his family and his beloved dogs. We take comfort knowing he is reunited in heaven with Holly, Zoe, Penny, Squishy, and Huckleberry, his best fur-friend.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Denise, daughter Kerry (Michael) his son Ryan (Monica), his grandsons, Patrick and Daniel, his dog Addie and all his brothers and sisters; Barbara, Ted (Mary), Tom (Judy), Nancy (Terry) and John.
