of Scotts, MI Paul William ?Barney? Gray was born March 26, 1930, in Kalamazoo, the son of Roy and Phyllis Wakefield Gray and passed away on May 24, 2011, in Kalamazoo. He resided in the Scotts community since 1946. He helped his dad farm was employed as a plasterer and was forced to retire from Unifab Corp. in December of 1992 due to health problems. Paul enjoyed gardening, camping, had a love for animals, snowmobiling, and family gatherings. He was married to Josephine Gosen on June 12, 1952. Surviving are his wife of almost 59 years, Josephine; two daughters, Chris Barry Osborne of Jonesborough, TN and Susan Gray of Hastings, MI; two grandsons, Brian Cindy Osborne and Kevin Jennie Osborne all of North Carolina; four great-grandchildren, Owen, Emma, Preston and Conner; two sisters, Marilyn Don Harding and Karen George Roe all of Climax and many nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by an infant daughter; his parents, his sister, Shirley and brothers, Cleve and Jerry. The family will receive friends from 11:00am ? 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 28th at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 West Battle Creek St. where a service to celebrate Paul?s life will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday with Pastor Dan Minor officiating. A private family burial will be held in Gilson Cemetery. Memorials in Paul?s memory may be directed to St. Jude?s Children Hospital or to Kalamazoo Animal Rescue.
