Patsy Ann Drzick (Blackport)

Patsy Ann Drzick, age 76 passed away on November 12, 2024 at Rose Arbor surrounded by family and friends. She was born August 22, 1948 in Kalamazoo, daughter of Bill Blackport and Doris (Broadstone) Blackport. 

She married David Lynn Drzick Sr. on December 5, 1986. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and her new friends at Cross Roads Village senior living. Patsy enjoyed traveling up north and drove semi cross country with her husband, Dave. In her time off she liked to go to the casino and playing cards, paint with watercolors and create floral designs. She was a former member of the New Apostolic Church. 

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband David, parents Bill and Doris; siblings, Richard Blackport and Butch Blackport. 

She is survived by her son Bruce and Stacy Ament; grandson, Aden Foy; granddaughter, Renae Degoede; great-granddaughters, Natalie and Kimberly Degoede; siblings, Sharon (Carl) Blake, Ralph Blackport, Rod (Sherie) Blackport and many nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 12:00pm at the New Apostolic Church, 3600 West Milham Street, Portage, MI with Evangelist Peter Cook officiating. Friends may gather from 11:00am until the time of service. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Care Navigators, formerly Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan located at 7100 Stadium Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49009.
