VALLIER, Patrick A.
Of Vicksburg, Michigan Pat passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 2, 2008. He was born September 25, 1952 in Kalamazoo, the son of Bernard and Minnie Johnson Vallier. He was employed by Pfizer formerly The Upjohn Co. and Pharmacia for 32 years, until his retirement in Jan. 2008. An avid sports fan, Pat enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing the lottery. On April 27, 1974, he was united in marriage to Lynn VanKersen, who preceded him in death on August 21, 1999. On June 14, 2003, he was united in marriage to Patricia Vallier, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Brant Liz Vallier and Ryan Shannon Vallier both of Vicksburg; 6 grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah, Emma, Ryan Jr., Braylen, and Bo; 2 brothers, Bernie Bev Vallier of Richland, and Larry Judy Vallier of Pennsylvania; 2 sisters, Robin Stan Oakleaf of Plainwell, and Rene Greg Stopher of Delton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, Lynn Vallier; and 1 brother, Arthur Vallier. Memorial services for Pat will be at 2:00 PM on Monday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 PM until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
