VAN WERDEN, Patricia L.
Of Hickory Corners Patricia passed away Thursday evening, February 16, 2012 at Kairos Dwelling. She was born July 7, 1924 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Charles and Ruth Stone Ray. On October 26, 1945, Patricia was united in marriage to Harold E. VanWerden, until his passing in 1998. She was devoted to her family and her faith in Christ throughout her life. Patricia volunteered at Bronson Methodist Hospital, was an avid bowler and loved working at the polls during elections. Surviving are their four children, Pam Barry Bradford of Hickory Corners, Rick Kathy VanWerden of Richland, Wendy Mitch DeLange of Caledonia and Tim Linda VanWerden of Caledonia; seven grandchildren, Chris Lorie VanWerden, Stasha Outman, Tiffany DeLange, Elizabeth Greg Bryant, Jeff DeLange, Nick VanWerden and Alex VanWerden; and two great-grandchildren. Friends may visit with the family from 4-7 PM on Sunday today at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. A private interment will be at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Kairos Dwelling.
