Patricia A. Shilts

SHILTS, Patricia A. Of Galesburg Pat passed away Thursday morning, March 17, 2011 at her home. She was born March 20, 1936 in Plainwell, the daughter of Alton and Estella Staley Hart. She was employed by Pro Co Sound for 15 years until her retirement. Pat was a 1981 graduate of Galesburg-Augusta High School and a member of Galesburg Congregational United Church of Christ. Preceding her in death were her husband, Russell "Bud" Shilts in 1993; father, Alton Hart; mother, Estella Fisher; brother, Alton Hart Jr.; and two step-sons. Surviving are six children, Debra Burzych of Kalamazoo, Steven Susan Dolph of Galesburg, Danial Rita Dolph of Mattawan, Tina Boyer of Leonidas, Russell Teresa Carter of Howe, IN, and Randy Tracie Carter of Galesburg; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; step-mother, Margaret Hart of Augusta; half-sister, Jeanette Jim Ritchie of Augusta; sister-in-law, Shirley Hart; four step-sons; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Pat will be at 12PM on Tuesday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek Street, with Rev. Barbara Van Eck officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
