Patricia passed away on Saturday evening, September 23, 2017 in Three Rivers, MI. She was born on December 12, 1938 in Bradenton, FL a daughter of Leslie and Lillian (Walker) Blair. Pat graduated from the Academy of Richmond County Georgia in 1957 and entered the Unites States Marine Corps. She met Delbert Hite while visiting Ft. Benning and on July 18, 1959 Pat and Del were married. After returning to Kalamazoo, Pat worked for The Upjohn Company and retired after 27 years of service. She was an avid reader of detective novels and enjoyed golf and bowling. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and step-father. Surviving are her husband, Delbert; children, Deborah Hite of Three Rivers and Michael Hite of Kalamazoo; grandson, Max Hite of Kalamazoo; brother, Joe (Jane) Carpenter of England; brother-in-law, Dallas (Marci) Hite of Hot Springs, AR; sister-in-law, Beverly (Keith) Rand of Parchment; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering is scheduled to begin at 5 PM in the Klines Resort Clubhouse on Saturday, September 30th. Private inurnment in Fort Custer National Cemetery will take place at a later date. Memorials may be given to a charity of choice.
