HARMON, Patricia E. Vicksburg Pat passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007. She was born November 5, 1951 in Kalamazoo, one of nine children to Richard and Zita Kovach Walker. Pat was employed at Kalamazoo Country Day Preschool and Aftercare for many years. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, the beach, and snorkeling. On November 8, 1969, she was united in marriage to Arthur Harmon in Kalamazoo, who survives. Also surviving are her two sons, Todd Harmon of Vicksburg, and Chad Penny Harmon of Mendon; her mother and step-father, Zita and Cartis England; four grandchildren, Sarah Terry, Samantha, Tim, and Shannon; one great-grandchild, Cohen; one sister, Julie Stamm; three brothers, Richard, Mike, and Dan Tina Walker; brother-in-law, Steve Mannes; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her father, Richard Walker; two sisters, Linda Layton and Carolyn Mannes; and two brothers, John and Victor Walker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1150 W. Centre Avenue, with Father Kevin Covert, celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Wednesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue, with a rosary at 7:30 PM. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
