GOLDEN, Patricia J.
Of Kalamazoo Patricia passed away Monday afternoon, February 23, 2009 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born February 12, 1940 in San Diego, CA, the daughter of Edward and Virginia Frame Deyo. Patricia was active in Girl Scouts for many years and was a former Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed many different arts and crafts. On June 20, 1980, she was united in marriage to Charles Golden in Kalamazoo, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, David Marie Freeman of Kalamazoo and Michael Laura Freeman of Winslow, Maine; 1 step-son, David Golden of Elkhart, IN; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Roger Deyo of Portage, and Gregory Suzanne Deyo of Delton; 1 daughter-in-law, Marcia Freeman of Baldwin; former spouse, Robert Freeman of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding her in death were 1 son, Thomas Freeman; her father, Edward Deyo; and her mother and step-father, Virginia Joseph Korkick. Memorial services for Patricia will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday tomorrow at Kendall United Methodist Church, 26718 C.R. 388, Gobles. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to American Diabetes Association or Camp Merrie Woode, Plainwell. Arrangement by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
