FAWLEY, Patricia A.
of Portage Patricia A. Fawley passed away Thursday morning, November 24, 2011. She was born June 26, 1930, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Michael and Mildred Tanzer Pryson, Sr. and had been a lifelong resident in the Kalamazoo area. Pat was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School, class of 1948. Since 1971, when Continental Lanes opened, she has been an active part of the daily operations of the bowling center; but the most important part of her life was her family. On September 18, 1948, Pat was united in marriage to her loving husband of 63 years, Dale N. Fawley who preceded her in death on September 18, 2011. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Cody Zehner and a sister, Barbara Carter. Surviving are their children, David and Karen Fawley, Marc Fawley, Christin Fawley-Zehner, Scott and LuAnn Duncan-Fawley, Dana Ball; former son-in-law, Douglas Zehner; two former daughter-in-laws, Jean Fawley and Barbara Kibler; grandchildren, Kyle and Katlyn Zehner, Amanda and Rachel Ball, Dan and Leslie Beach, Clark and Kim Brown; great-grandchildren, Mykah Zehner, Jessica, Cooper, Chandler, and Parker Beach, C.J., Jordan, and Katie Brown; brother, Mike and Marlene Pryson; sister, Sali and William Carter; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family Monday, November 28th from 1-3 and 6-8 pm at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre, where a service to celebrate Pat's life will be held at 11:00 o'clock Tuesday, November 29th with Pastor Jim Dyke officiating. Interment will follow in South Portage Cemetery. Memorials in Pat's memory may be directed to a charity of your choice.
