Patricia C Cavanagh

Patricia C. Cavanagh passed away on August 31, 2024, at 10pm.

Patricia was born on November 21, 1925 to Hazel and Richard Dickinson in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from High School in Skokie, Illinois. During world war II, she contributed to the war effort as a secretary for Douglas Aircraft.

She then attended the University of Illinois in Urbana. She studied art and worked in the fashion industry.

Patricia married Harold Cavanagh in 1950 who preceded her in death in 2004.

She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed playing golf with her family. For many years, she was a volunteer at the Community Health Center of Branch County.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She had two sons, Brian and David (Jody); grandchildren, Steven (Teresa), Laura (Chad), Sarah (Travis), and Robert; great-grandchildren, Veda Rose, Vincent, Alexis, Isabelle, Tessa, Apollo; step-grandchildren, Justin (Becky), Blake, Hayley; step-great-grandchild, Natalie.

Services were provided by Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services in Portage, Michigan. She was laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater, Michigan.
