of Kalamazoo Pamela died Sunday evening, May 8, 2011 in Plainwell. She was born May 24, 1950 in Kalamazoo, MI a daughter of Robert and Edith DeVries Antel and had been a lifelong area resident. Pamela worked for several years for Mastercraft Corporation and later for Specialty Business Forms. She enjoyed spending summer weekends at Sandy Pines and also enjoyed traveling to craft shows and Shipshewana. Pamela was preceded in death by her Mother. On May 5, 1995, Pamela was united in marriage with Dennis Baker, who survives. Also surviving are: her son, Glen Hawes of Kalamazoo; Dennis?s children, Ronna Jim Bonneau of Plainwell, Marc Denise Boyer of Vicksburg and Tod Baker of Gobles; 13 step-grandchildren; father, Robert Antel of Portage; sister, Debbie Jack Buchino of Schoolcraft and three nephews, Bob, Jason and Scott Buchino. Services will be held 11:00 Thursday morning at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at the funeral home. Cremation will follow services. Memorial should be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
