Orion Holte

Formerly of Fargo, North Dakota, Orion passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024, with family by his side. Orion was born on November 24, 1933, in Shelly, Minnesota, to the late Clarence and Matilda (Aanenson) Holte. After graduating from high school, Orion joined the United States Army, during which he served more than 2 years overseas. On November 28, 1954, Orion married his best friend, Holly (Hardina), who he spent many loving years with, raising their sons and watching their family grow. Orion worked for Land of Lakes as a salesman for 40 years. Orion enjoyed fishing and spending time at the lake with his family.

Surviving Orion is his wife, Holly; sons, Michael (Julie) Holte, Paul (Heidi) Holte; grandchildren, Tara, Jessica (Chris), Chris (Bretlee), David (Jordan), Gina (Jared) Brady, Addison. 4 great grandchildren Eloise, Luke, Naomi and Kylee and his brother, Alden (Lois) Holte. Preceding him in passing are his parents; sons, Timothy Holte, Perry Holte; grandchild Andy Holte; siblings, Fernald Holte, Verne Holte, Henry Holte.
