Olive was born November 30, 1915, in Blue Earth, Minnesota, the daughter of Thomas and Hazel Hainsworth Ginn and died May 31, 2010, in Portage, Michigan. On November 26, 1937, she was united in marriage to Forrest Olson, who preceded her in death on June 17, 1991. Also preceding her in death were her parents and six sisters. Surviving are her daughter, Sandra David Elias of Vicksburg; two grandchildren, Susan Roger Herbstreit of Stevensville, MI and Paul Tonya Elias of Caledonia; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Ginn of Kansas. In accordance with Olive's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will be held 2:45 PM Tuesday June 15 in Kent Memorial Gardens, Byron Center, MI; followed by a luncheon gathering at High Pointe Community Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Olive's memory may be directed to Gideon's International or High Pointe Community Church. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes.
