Olin J. Arnold

ARNOLD, Mr. Olin J. Kalamazoo Mr. Arnold passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Tendercare of Kalamazoo. He was born November 26, 1922 in Kalamazoo, one of two children to the late Leo and Lena Mohney Arnold. Olin was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He was employed by Duramatalic until his retirement in 1985. Mr. Arnold was a member of Northwest United Methodist Church; and he loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. On November 5, 1947, he was united in marriage to Evelyn R. Curry in Kalamazoo. She preceded him in death on April 8, 2004. Surviving are his 2 children, Phillip Arnold of Mattawan, and Linda John Cleveland of Vicksburg; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his sister, Maxine Lee Bland of Indiana; 3 nieces; and 1 nephew. Funeral services for Mr. Arnold will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th Street, with Rev. Dr. Lowell F. Walsworth officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Friday at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Northwest United Methodist Church.
