Kalamazoo, MI Died Thursday evening July 2, 2009. Ola was born April 23, 1921 in Rossville, Georgia a daughter of Robert "Benjamin" and Claire Harp Massey. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 55 years and was a member of the Berean Baptist Church. Ola was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Massey. She is survived by 4 children, Deborah Jon Frye of Jamestown, OH, Valarie Gordon Moore of Clinton, MI, Terry Jackie Eplee of Schwenksville, PA, and Douglas Susan Eplee of Kalamazoo; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Lola Jobe of Chattanooga, TN; a sister-in-law, Luda Massey of Rossville, GA; 2 nieces; and several cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Monday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Visitation will be 2-5pm Sunday. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Comstock. Memorials may be directed to the Berean Baptist Church or the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission. www.langelands.com . 343-1508.
