HERRINGTON, Mrs. Norma J.
Kalamazoo, Michigan Went to be with the Lord Monday morning April 20, 2009. Norma was born May 26, 1926 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Mitchell and Stella Sebert Pikkaart. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and co-owned Herrington Photography with her husband for many years before retiring. Norma was also preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon E. Herrington on August 8, 1996; a brother-in-law, Donald Herrington, Sr; a sister-in-law and husband, Elaine George Ingrahm; and a niece, Marianne Nero. She is survived by her son, Gordon J. Janice Herrington of Mattawan; 2 grandchildren, Christian and Timothy Herrington both of Mattawan; a sister-in-law, Ruby Herrington of Ormond Beach, FL; 2 nephews, Donald Joelle Herrington, Jr. of Daytona Beach, FL and David Joyce Ingrahm of Delmar, MD; and several cousins. Graveside services will be held 1 o'clock Monday in Riverside Cemetery. Private visitation has taken place. Memorials may be directed to the Kalamazoo County Humane Society.
