DICKERMAN, Mrs. Norine B.
of Kalamazoo, MI Died Thursday afternoon December 22, 2011. Norine was born September 20, 1920 in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of Adrian and Anna DeWitte Kloosterman. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was a member of North Park Reformed Church. Norine was also a Red Cross Volunteer with Borgess Hospital and North Christian School Willing Workers for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willard F. Dickerman on September 24, 1999; a son, Fredric J. Dickerman on May 28, 1997; a grandson, Aaron Dickerman in 1980; 5 sisters, Prena VandenBrink, Connie Koning, Lena TerBeck, Christine DeLeeuw, and Marian Reck; and a brother, Jacob "Jay" Kloosterman. She is survived by 2 sons, Thomas Karen Dickerman and Richard "Dick" Mary Dickerman all of Kalamazoo; a daughter-in-law, Wylene Dickerman of Charlotte, NC; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother, Willard Mary Kloosterman of Parchment; a brother-in-law, D.J. Rush of Kalamazoo; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Tuesday at the North Park Reformed Church, 1316 Barney Rd. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Private burial will take place in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery North. Memorials may be directed to the North Park Reformed Church or the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission. Arrangements were made by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel 3926 S. 9th St.
