DUFF, Mrs. Nora J. Scotts, MI Formerly of Portage, MI Went to be with the Lord Sunday afternoon April 15, 2007. Nora was born March 16, 1928 in Success, Arkansas a daughter of James and Mary Willis VanNada. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 53 years, coming from Arkansas. She was employed with W.L. Moulding for over 30 years before retiring. She was also a member of the General Baptist Church; and the Rubber Makers Union where she served as Vice President. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank S. Duff on October 22, 1981; a son, Larry Duff in 2002; a brother, Myron; and 3 sisters, Georgia ?Lena?, Lorreen, and Vera. She is survived by 2 children, Mary Al Arendt of Tampa, FL and Roger Cynthia Duff of Paw Paw; a daughter-in-law, Linda Jeff Bunch of Allegan; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Holly Barks of Kalamazoo and Virgie Jake Richardson of Corning, AR; 3 brothers, Elmer Phyllis VanNada, Delmer Linda VanNada, and Wayne Barb VanNada all of Corning, AR; nieces, Retha Frye of Climax and Dolly Rogers of Poplar Bluff, MO; and several other nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1 o?clock Thursday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Wednesday. Interment will be in South Portage Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the General Baptist Church.
