Kalamazoo, MI Died Monday morning January 19, 2009. Nora was born December 21, 1924 in Nashville, Tennessee a daughter of Archie and Jessie Austin Stuart. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was a licensed daycare provider for over 40 years. She was also a life member of the Comstock V.F.W. Auxiliary Post. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alford Jay Anderson on September 19, 2005; 2 sons, Alford James Anderson and Richard Anderson; and 2 sisters, Pearl Johnson and Lillian Jordan. She is survived by 4 children, Gloria Edwin Rodgers of Kalamazoo, Doris James Tripp of Gobles, and Barbara Anderson and Linda Munger both of Kalamazoo; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Esther Walker of New York; 3 brothers, Walter Stewart of Texas, Joe Roberta Williams of Florida, and Tony Flo Eli of Kentucky; special friends, Phillip Diane Buckhout of Otsego; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1 o'clock Friday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Thursday. Interment will be in Mt.
