FORCUM, Noble R. "Ray"
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away Tuesday evening, September 10, 2013 at the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Ray was born September 10, 1933 in West Frankfort, IL the son of Noble and Ruby Pike Forcum. He was employed for 20 years with Checker Motors, retiring in 1992 as a quality control inspector. Ray enjoyed discovering nature by taking pictures in his own backyard of beautiful flowers and wildlife; and also enjoyed listening to music. Most of all, he loved being a father and grandpa. On October 25, 1980 he was united in marriage to his loving wife, Sally Kleckner, who survives. Also surviving is Ray's blended family which include the children, Laura Tyria, Debra Randy Miller, Terri Jim Burroughs, Theresa Dale Mitchell, Brian Sara Schug, Mike Forcum; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; his sister, Neva Frailey; and several nieces and nephews. Ray was preceded in death by a grandson, Shawn D. Price; and 2 sisters, Norma Brown and Nadine Forcum. A service to celebrate Ray's life will be held at 11:00am Friday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick. Interment will follow in East Cooper Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Thursday from 6-8 pm and Friday from 10-11:00 am prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to the Eagles #526 or Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
