Of Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Rose Arbor Hospice. Age 68 years. Nicole was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on September 28, 1943, the daughter of the late Lou Groleau and Venitia Sigouin Crowle. She received her Bachelors Degree from Western Michigan University. She worked as a billing administrator for Bronson Hospital for 12 years. Surviving are two children, Kris Larry Callihan of Carpentersville, IL and Steven Lori Truax Battenberg of Kalamazoo; three grandchildren, Kelsey, Jacob and Grace; and two brothers, Robert Laura Groleau of Asheville, N.C. and Jack Wendy Groleau of Asheville, N.C. Nicole was preceded in death by one brother, Patrick Groleau. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., where friends may visit with the family from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service. Abbot David Greeley will officiate. Graveside interment will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice Residence.
