CLARK, Nettie L.
Of Delton Nettie passed away Friday morning, February 10, 2012 at her home. She was born September 8, 1927 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late John and Cleo White Lewis. A graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School, Nettie worked for Gilmore Department Store in Kalamazoo. On October 1, 1947, she was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Clark. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Dick Clark; four children, Cherri James Emery-Rafferty of Parchment, Jerry Kathy Clark of Delton, Larry Clark of Hot Springs, AR, and Rick Dianne Clark of Delton; nine grandchildren, Ashley Tom McLaughlin, Jennifer Jeff Frowine, Gina Papineau, Stephanie Szekely, Mike Szekely; Jeremy Clark, Ja-Nay Windmoeller, Erin Clark and Andrew Clark; eight great-grandchildren, Krystyn, Brittany, Paisley, Autumn, Zoey, Bill, Anna, and Aiden; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were a daughter, Terri Szekely; grandson, Sean Emery; her parents; and three brothers, Lloyd, William and George Lewis. A memorial service for Nettie will be at 12:00 pm on Tuesday at Westwood Church of God, 811 Gorham Lane, with Pastor Thomas Tufts officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Monday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street. Private interment will be in Yorkville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to West Michigan Cancer Center, Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan or Westwood Church of God Memorial Fund.
