VANDER KLOK, Nellie Kalamazoo Passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2007. She was born June 14, 1925 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Anthonie and Jozina Meeuwse Kreling and had been a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo. She was a member of Grace Christian Reformed Church, where she was active in the Ora et Labora and Dorcas Societies. On September 15, 1950 she married Richard Vander Klok, who survives. Nellie is also survived by her children, Donald Gwendolyn Vander Klok of Sarnia, ON, Kenneth Amanda Vander Klok of Portage, James Vander Klok of Washington, DC, Larry Linda Vander Klok of Grand Rapids, MI, Janice Vern Van Vuren of Platte, SD, and Elaine Paul Van Schouwen of Hudsonville, MI; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irene Kreling of Kalamazoo and Geraldine Robert Van Gemert of Parchment; a sister-in-law, Betty Kreling of Mattawan; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Henry Kreling. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday in the Grace Christian Reformed Church, 1724 Whites Road with Rev. Drs. Joseph Brinks and Harry Arnold officiating. Private family interment will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue on Thursday from 5-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be directed to Grace Christian Reformed Church or the Kalamazoo Christian School Association.
