GETTYS, Nannie Colleen
of Kalamazoo, Michigan Colleen passed away early Friday morning, May 3, 2013 at Tendercare of Westwood. She was born November 11, 1930 in Middletown, VA, the last of ten children to Bennett G. and Onie E. Derflinger Golliday. Colleen was employed by Kalamazoo Stamping and Die for over 30 years until her retirement. Surviving are five sons, Bob Pam Gettys, Dennis Lisa Gettys, Dan Gettys, Gordon Gettys and Joe Nancy Gettys, son-in-law, Butch Kreitz; daughter-in-law, Brenda "Cookie" Gettys; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert Gettys in 1981; her only daughter, Diane Krietz; three sons, Leonard, Tom and Jerry Gettys; her parents; and two brothers, James and Bill Golliday; and seven sisters, Nancy Jenkins, Marguerite Bell, Betty Stevens, Marie Carpenter, Mildred Snapp, Elsie Hamilton and Banetta Golliday. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 11, at Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo. There will no visitation. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes.
