MYERS, Nancy Lee
of Comstock Passed away June 11, 2011 at home. She was born June 24, 1948 in Plainwell, MI to the late Fred and Betty Burgen Velasquez. Among Nancy's many interests included, bingo, reading, sudoko, her "burned cooking" and her famous "soupy mashed potatoes". Nancy was proud to be the 1st woman machine lubricator for Upjohn Corporation. Surviving Nancy are her children, Danny Myers of Kalamazoo and Veronica Mike Laske of Richland; grandchildren, Sarah Myers, Ryan Christi Myers, Nicholas Myers, Matt Laske and Mitch Laske; brothers and sisters, Linda Sam Norton, Yolanda Jack Warren, Victoria Billy Doyle, Rocky Velasquez, Sandra Velasquez and Mildred Pat Amos; the father of her children, Dan Myers; and several nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Hwy., where a funeral service will take place on Thursday at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
