LAWSON, Nancy Alice
Of Kalamazoo Nancy passed away Sunday July 17, 2011 at her home after battling cancer. Nancy was born October 10, 1951 in Paw Paw, MI daughter of Frederick and Eileen Willet Niles. She graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1970. Nancy found the love of her live and was married to Paul Robert Lawson on August 26, 1978. Nancy was employed by Summit Polymers Valley Plant for 23 years where she worked as an inspector, group leader, and a machine operator. Nancy loved her family, home, flowers, gardening, her dog Sugaar, time at the lake and the occasional trip to the casino. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Fred, sister Joyce, and a sibling. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 33 years Paul, her 3 great sons Robert James, Patrick William, John Reasoner, special daughter Susan Statler; daughter-in-law Leah, grandson Xavier; siblings Ken Niles, Mary Yanosik, and Loretta Noora; brothers and sisters-in-law Jerry Steinke, Marcy Noora, John Yanosik, Marsha Niles, Angela and Harold Cronk, Tracy Lawson, Gloria & Carl Sharp, Mary and Tim Kane; and many cousins, nieces and nephews She had always hoped that her cousins Bonnie and Leona would be able to reconcile and get back together. Thanks to Hospice of Southwest Michigan and the West Michigan Cancer Center for their care and time. Services will be held at 11:00 o'clock Thursday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Kalamazoo, MI 49007. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
