KOVACH, Nancy J.
of Comstock, Michigan Nancy Jean Kovach, age 40, died Monday June 17, 2013 at her home. She was born July 22, 1972 in Kalamazoo, MI a daughter of Larry and Dolores DeHaan Boven and had been a lifelong area resident. She worked as a scheduler at Reverence Home, Health and Hospice for the past 20 years. Nancy was a quiet loving person. Her world revolved around her sons. She enjoyed taking them camping and sitting around the camp fire. They were involved in several sports including baseball, basketball, soccer and bowling. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, reading, going to the library and spending time with her friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Peter and Helen DeHaan and her cousin, Lisa DeHaan. Nancy is survived by: her sons, Jason and Bradley; mother and step-father, Dolores Marvin Burrma of Portage; father, Larry Boven of Kalamazo; sister, Sandy Kevin Gardner of Kalamazoo; step-brother Bryan Burrma of Colorado; step-sister, Adele Lee Covington of Marshall; six nieces, Jasyman, Kyra, Jordyn, Elena, Laura and Meria; nephew, Breydon; uncle and aunt, Bob and Judy DeHaan of Kalamazoo, and in-laws, Sherman and Melba Kovach and their family. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 20th from 6 to 8pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Services will be held 11:00 Friday morning, June 21st at the funeral home, with Pastor Dave Beetham of Kalamazoo Covenant Church, officiating. Interment in Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park, South will follow services. A fund for her sons' education is being set up for memorials.
