DRALLETTE, Nancy J. Gray
Of Galesburg Nancy passed away peacefully on Friday evening, November 18, 2011 at her home surrounded by those who loved her. She was born May 20, 1935 in Horton, Kansas, the daughter of Robert ?Pat? and Thelma Bontrager Lewman. Nancy was employed by Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo for over 30 years until her retirement. She was a member of Wakeshma Community Church where she was active in the church?s Bible Study. She enjoyed reading and traveling. On Oct. 15, 1953, she married Jerry Gray. They were married for 51 years, until his passing on July 31, 2005. On May 6, 2006, she married DeWayne Drallette, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter Carie Cooper of Galesburg; 3 grandchildren, Taryn, Jaylen, and Avery; son-in-law, Michael Cooper; step-children, Jacqueline, Russell, Mark, David and Joan; 16 step grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Patsy John Longfield and Marilyn Duane Metty; 4 brothers, Robert ?Buster? Gayle Lewman, Ken Betty Lewman, Doug Pat Lewman and Roger Barb Lewman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents and 2 brothers, Raymond and Norm Lewman. Funeral services for Nancy will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Wakeshma Community Church, 16732 East UV Avenue, Fulton, with Pastor David Mackaluso officiating. Interment will follow in Gilson Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Monday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek Street. Memorial contributions may be directed to Wakeshma Community Church or Borgess Visiting Nurse and Hospice. Nancy?s family would like to give special thanks to Amy Troff and children for their help and support since the onset of Nancy?s illness.
