Nancy Lynn Boothby

Nancy Lynn Boothby, age 76, of Kalamazoo, Michigan passed away May 24, 2024. She was born June 8, 1947, in Grand Haven, Michigan to the late Harlan and Beatrice (King) Hill.

Nancy was born and raised in Grand Haven, Michigan, along with her brother, Gary, and sister, Kim.  She met her husband, John, when she was in high school, and they were married the day after she graduated from the nursing program at Andrews University in 1970. 

Nancy and John lived in Tennessee while John was in the armed services, and had their first son, Mark, while they were there. They then moved to Michigan where their second son, Phillip, was born.   Nancy had a long career as a nurse, of which she spent 25 years in the geriatric-psychiatric unit and Lakeview Hospital in Paw Paw, Michigan. 

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents. 

She is survived by her loving husband, John Boothby; sons, Mark (Janelle) Boothby and Phillip (Julie) Boothby; grandchildren, Hannah, Jack, Ethan, Micah; brother, Gary Hill; sister, Kimberly (Jeff) Toth; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Paw Paw Seventh-day Adventist Church, 60409 M-40 Hwy, Paw Paw, MI 49079, where a memorial service will begin at 12:00 pm. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Paw Paw Seventh-day Adventist Church Building Fund.
