Morris Mesick

MESICK, Mr. Morris ?Buck? J. Kalamazoo, MI Died Thursday evening June 7, 2007. Morris was born February 21, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan a son of Charles and Thelma Schumaker Williams. During WWII, he served with the U.S. Navy. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and owned Bucks Roofing for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. On April 1, 2004, he was united in marriage to Connie A. Coe Mesick who survives. Also surviving, 8 children, Rodney Mesick of Three Rivers, John Mesick of Paw Paw, Pam Decker of Kalamazoo, Judy Smith of Statesville, NC, Rosemary Tom Schallhorn of Guam, Richard Pam Locker of Dyer, TN, Rock Locker of Galesburg, and Carole Matthews of Kalamazoo; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Heart Fund or West Michigan Cancer Center.
