DECKEBACH, Molly
Of Kalamazoo, MI Passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Molly was born February 20, 1915, in Highland Park, Michigan, the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Brown Gibbons. She was a longtime resident of Royal Oak, Michigan where she was a member of the Royal Oak Presbyterian Church and has been a resident of Kalamazoo the past 30 years. On October 29, 1939, in Royal Oak, she was united in marriage to Philip Deckebach, who preceded her in death on September 13, 1998. She was also preceded in death by a two sisters, Nora Kenrick and Eva Smith. Surviving are three children, Philip R. Gerry Deckebach of Toledo, OH, Nancy Donald Kelley of Wayland, MI and Richard Deckebach of Panama City Beach, FL; grandchildren, Jeffrey Jill and Troy Theresa Deckebach, Todd Beth, Greg Kathy and Ty Niki Kelley and Dena Rob Barlow; 16 great-grandchildren; nieces Shirley Williams and Patricia Smith. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 8th from 1-2 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street where a service celebrating Molly's life will begin at 2:00 PM Monday. A private interment will be held in Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak, Michigan.
