Kalamazoo, Michigan Passed away Monday, July 28, 2008. Mr. Usif Soomro was born September 1, 1918 in Shikarpur, Pakistan and had lived in the United States for many years. He was an artist and displayed his paintings at the Kalamazoo Institute of Art as well as the Portage Senior Center. He was a member of both the Portage and Kalamazoo Senior Centers. Mr. Usif Soomro is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Zahida and Mushtaq Luqmani of Kalamazoo and two sisters. Services and burial have taken place.
